Hudson West Fest is seeking two up-and-coming Hudson County acoustic artists to perform at its next music festival on Saturday, September 13, 2025

As most musicians will attest, getting a break can be tough when one is starting out. With this in mind, the Hudson West Fest launched a program in 2021 to seek out and give performance opportunities to rising New Jersey talent as part of our annual Hudson West Music Festival. Any up-and-coming artist in the Hudson County area is eligible to apply for the opportunity to win a slot onstage at the annual Hudson West Music Festival and to receive a professional video of their performance. 

We support all genres and styles of music and there is no fee to apply. Because of stage and set-up constraints, the selected artists will be limited to a performance featuring three people or less, and we'd prefer to see that setup reflected in your submitted video if possible.

The final choice of rising artists will be made by local music industry professionals. The selections will be based on several criteria including originality, musicality, and stage presence. Selected artists will each have a fifteen-minute set at the festival. Your names and bios will be featured on our website and in our promotional materials.
