Hudson West Folk Festival ADA Grievance Procedure
The Hudson West Folk Festival is committed to enabling all people to access and enjoy our events fully.
While an effort has been made to meet this commitment, the Board of the Hudson West Festival acknowledges that we may come up short in addressing individual needs.
The following grievance procedure has been established to address this.
Two methods have been provided for addressing grievances:
- On-Line
- Live (at event)
The On-Line Grievance Method allows a person to file a grievance at any time they chose using the Hudson West website. The Board of the festival commits to respond to any on-line grievance within ten business days of its being filed.
The Live Grievance Method allows a person to raise a grievance during an event. An effort will be made to resolve the grievance as quickly as possible with the goal of allowing the person with the grievance to participate in and enjoy the remainder of the event. If the grievance cannot be resolved at the event, a response will be provided within ten days.
One member of the Board of the Hudson West Festival has been designated as the ADA Coordinator for Hudson West. That individual will be responsible to address grievances, while consulting with the rest of the Board when necessary.

When a person clicks on that link, they will be shown a page where they can describe their issue:
Any submissions on this page will be forwarded to the ADA Coordinator so they can be addressed.
Live Grievance Process
Hudson West’s main activity is our one-day festival, held in the fall in Jersey City. The festival is run by the Hudson West Board and a cadre of several dozen volunteers – almost all of whom are easy to spot because they are wearing Festival tee shirts. If anyone chooses to bring up a Grievance during the festival, they should speak to any Board Member or volunteer. It is always easy to find a Board Member or a Volunteer either at the ticket desk by the front door or by the Food/Merchandise area.
